In 2008 FC Internazionale Milan celebrated its centenary.Nike, Inter’s technical sponsor, planned a two phase communication project.The first event was the presentation of the white & red crossed commemorative jersey (May 07).On the 8th of March 2008 the black/blue jersey with golden logos was exhibited.
ISM assisted Nike in maximizing both of Inter’s jerseys exposure on Italian media. The celebration shirts were being sold in limited edition. The identified communication targets were the Italian national Media, Inter Fc fans and V.I.Ps.
On the 27th of May 2007 ISM coordinated the organization of the press conference presenting Inter’s commemorative jersey that took place at Meazza Stadium in Turin, just before the Inter-Torino football match. Keynote speakers: Matthew Cook, Nike‚ then General Manager in Italy, and Massimo Moratti, President of Inter.
100th year anniversary celebration had great visibility on all Italian and the event was a smashing success. Sales of the white & red crossed commemorative jersey broke all records.
